Reviews
The people here are amazing. Rooms need servicing. Heated towel bar didn't work and had to put soap bar in sink drain so it would drain. Paint needed sprucing up. View was beautiful from our room, but hotel is remote from restautants and shopping . The people really made the stay worth it.
This Hotel was close to the airport. The staff when checking in were very friendly and helpful. We were not here very long. The rooms were adequate. Interesting that even when you took the elevator you still had to take bags on stairs. We were able to walk to the beach nearby.
Staff was very professional/helpful. Very close to airport with reliable shuttle service at reasonable price. Room was clean/well maintained.
Shower was quite small.
We stayed in the beautiful top floor room with an ocean view and rooftop balcony.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and well maintained and breakfast is very good. The shuttle was on time to get us to the airport in the morning. I would absolutely recommend this hotel if flying from Fiumicino.
Grazie mille a voi!!!
The staff was excellent. The location is almost on the beach and 10 minutes from airport. The shower is small and most restaurants there open after 7. Front desk guys very helpful
We needed a hotel for 1 night close to the airport for our return from Italy. My wife booked 2 rooms through Expedia. When we arrived, Matteo checked us in and was very nice. Upon taking our bags to our rooms, my family pointed out mold and mildew in the showers, hair in the floors, and in 1 room we spotted several bugs on the ceilings. I tried to politely let Matteo know. He asked if he could change us to different rooms and mentioned upgrading us as well. I also tried to politely explain that we would prefer to move on to a nicer hotel. He said that a refund would be up to Expedia. My card was charged, so as soon as I got home, I contacted Expedia to let them know. They contacted the hotel, and they denied that the rooms were dirty and told Expedia that they offered us other rooms. While they did offer other rooms, we were so disgusted by what we saw there was no way we were willing to change rooms. I'm talking about the entire property overall was rather dingy. We collected our bags and moved on. We made a couple of calls and quickly booked 2 rooms at the Rome Marriott Park Hotel. Our total bill for 2 King rooms for the night was $375.69. This a fairly nice hotel with a convention center vs. the charges from Hotel Riviera of $396.96. I'm going to the trouble of posting this review because I was done wrong by this hotel and Expedia. Expedia offered me a $50.00 rewards credit which I did not accept. I am done with Expedia as well. BEWARE OF WHAT YOU ARE BUYING IF YOU BOOK THIS HOTEL!!! Again, I tried to be polite and as diplomatic as possible in having to inform the clerk that the hotel was unsatisfactory. The whole truth is that it was somewhat disgusting - my family would be harder on it than that...
We stayed Aug 27 to 29 2023. Massimo and Matteao are the two BEST hotel staff that we have ever dealt with and we have travelled a lot and dealt with hundreds of staff. Both went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable finding meal options locally and providing advise and assistance with our trip into Rome. The location of the hotel is fantastic. Minutes from the airport and a short walk to the huge beach. Love those cappuccino's Matteao. The continental breakfast had a number of options. The room was great and managing a few steps was a breeze with assistance from Massimo! This hotel is definately in our plans when we return to Italy! GRAZIE
